Annette Funicello (born Annette Funicello) was an American actress, singer. She was best known for her role as one of the first "Mouseketeers" in the show 'Mickey Mouse Club.' Her career in singing began when she was an teenager. Born and raised in Utica in the United States, with Italian immigrants, Annette was a shy teenager. In order to make an impression in the entertainment business her first step was to begin dancing and play. In the mid-1950s, she appeared in several 'Disney' sketches in the role of one of the "Mouseketeers" which earned her significant recognition. Annette was able to shed her Disney identity when she became an adult, and started to take on roles for adults. The most recognizable role she played was in the role of the pioneer of the concept of a beach party. The films she appeared in included "Pajama Party," "How to stuff a wild bikini' and 'Beach Party'. Her music albums were released from time to again.
