Canadian screen actress, best known for playing Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. CBSs Blood & Treasure has been her home since 2019. Earthstorm (2006) and The Perfect Neighbor (2005). Silk was born Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, the daughter of Peter Silk who is an academic. The wife of Peter Silk Ilkay is an actress as well as a director, producer, and playwright. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Annas earliest memories revolve around attending play rehearsals, and watching her mother do her job. Silk was a child star in a variety of commercials. She graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was responsible for at least 2 earlier productions of theatre. These included Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1998). Samuel Cooperman as well as Levi Levi Cooperman are parents to two sons. In 2009 she landed the lead role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. The character she played Bo together with Lauren as lovers of the same gender in Lost Girl was named one of the show's Favorite TV Couples by CNN and named the the top TV Couple for 2013. E! Entertainment Television. Due to the show's success, Silk gained a large presence on social media.
